Power Prospect Alert - Definition

Phone call invitation service that runs concurrently with the dealer mailing inviting a predetermined percentage of the mailed recipients to the event.

  • For you, Power Prospect Alert provides a competitive reason for the dealer to choose you for his/her next event.
  • For the dealer, having a percentage of the mailing list called directly inviting them to the event adds tangible justification for running an event.
  • For the recipient, the phone call adds a sense of urgency for attending the event.

The Strategy

  • For your dealer's mailing, you and the dealer decide what percentage of the recipients you want called. Because of mailing list wrong numbers, the Do Not Call Registry and dealer budget constraints, about 50% to 75% of the list would be callable.
  • We begin calling the dealer's list on or about the day the mailer should arrive at the recipients' homes. This means that if the recipients should receive their mailing on Monday, the calling would start on Monday and would continue through the first day of the event.
  • The actual phone call invitation works best when it focuses on inviting the recipient to a special event or celebration at which they will receive free gifts, incentives and food, just for attending.
  • All recipients who confirmed attendance with an appointment will receive a personal phone call from us reconfirming their appointment.
  • Where state laws allow, those recipients who were not contactable by phone but had answering machines will receive an automated message about the event.

Reporting

At the end of each day's phone calling, the dealer will receive a Progress Report of those recipients who:

  • Said they would attend and provided us a day and time.

After the sale, from these Progress Reports there will be a large number of recipients who did not attend the event, who can be re-called by dealership personnel for sales follow up.

The Mechanics

After Applied Concepts, Inc. receives the list manifest, it will be:

  • Washed against the Do Not Call Registry.
  • Called at least three times over various hours of the days leading up to the Event.

Summary

We give no incentives to our surveyors for getting a prospect on the phone to say they will attend an event.

Power Prospect Alert's job is not to sell a car over the phone but to simply try to get people to visit the dealerships for a celebration or event.
